Born and raised in Essex England, Kate McLaren pursued a career as a model and a presenter before moving to Sydney, Australia.

At The age of 30 she discovered her true passion in boxing and her talent in the sport didn't go unnoticed. Kate was invited to train and turn professional by the legendary 4 x world champion Jeff Fenech when she quickly rose through the ranks of professional boxing.

Kate's career has seen her fighting both on national and international stages. Being part of some of the biggest fight events in Australia has lead to Kate to being invited as fight analyst for Fox Sports on the first ever all female boxing card promoted by No Limit Boxing in Sydney Australia.

In March 2023 Kate officially became the NSW & Australiasian Women’s welterweight Champion ranking her No. 1 in Australia.

Sharing her inspirational life story which includes topics on Adversity, Resilience and Mindset, Kate is proving that you really can bounce back and overcome anything that life throws at you.

In 2022 Kate Founded ‘ It’s Her Foundation’ which is a NFP charity to help make a difference in the lives of young Females and at-risk youth, by giving at risk Females support through community, health and fitness.

Kate is currently residing and training from Bondi Boxing Club under coach Tony del Vecchio and Kate is pursuing her dream of one day becoming a World Champion.
